The website "School Digger" has ranked Marysville Public Schools 43rd out of 625 Districts in the State of Michigan according to 2008-09 MEAP/MME Data.  This data also includes District and building information on free/reduced lunch, teacher ratio, etc.

Patti Halligan & Tina Hudson (Washington Teachers) - "Mrs. Hudson and Mrs. Halligan have spent countless hours organizing and setting up our Washington Winter Olympics.  We cannot thank them enough for planning this wonderful event for all the students.  They both stayed after school and came in  very early in the morning to create the "ice rink", ski paths, and judge's room.  We couldn't have done it without them!"  Nominated By:  Washington Staff

Mike Roehl (Maintenance) - "Mike went above and beyond any expectations we could possibly have to take our Olympic "course" from paper and make it real!  He flattened our paths, helped us figure out how to ice down some of our tracks and found us equipment to make the painting of the game outlines simple.  Mike showed true "Olympic Spirit" and we appreciate his work....Thank You!"  Nominated By:  Washington Elementary Olympic Committee

Becky Martin & 5th Grade Band Teachers - “A word of recognition and thanks to Becky Martin (and all the 5th grade band teachers) for a stellar job at preparing the 5th graders for their future in band with Mr. Duso.  Mrs. Martin, and the other teachers, get the 5th graders when many have never even picked up an instrument before.  She works hard in this beginning stage and prepares them for  their next steps with Mr. Duso who continues the hard work to bring the band program where it is today.  The 6th  grade band concert Friday was outstanding!!  Hard to believe most of the students have only been playing together for two years! “  Nominated By:  Colleen Ryan (Parent)
