Welcome to Marysville Public Schools, a remarkable district of choice, nestled within a vibrant, supportive community where great futures begin. Proudly serving the City of Marysville and portions of Columbus, Kimball, St. Clair, and Wales townships, our district supports a close-knit community of approximately 14,000 residents. Located along the St Clair River, Marysville residents enjoy beautiful parks, fishing, and recreation. 

Our Schools & Programs

Marysville Public Schools comprises one high school, one middle school, and three elementary schools, providing a comprehensive, connected, pre-K through 12 educational experience. Our central administrative offices are located at 495 E. Huron Boulevard on the Marysville High School campus. 

We prioritize creative, personalized learning pathways for students, including advanced placement (AP) courses, dual enrollment with St. Clair County Community College, online learning, and CTE.  We also partner with the St. Clair County Regional Educational Service Agency (RESA)in Marysville to offer specialized educational opportunities, including the Technical Education Center and the Woodlands Developmental Center, expanding learning pathways for students across the region.

Leadership & Staff

Our district is guided by seven dedicated members of the Board of Education, all Marysville residents who bring diverse experiences and a shared commitment to thoughtful, student-centered decision-making.

Supporting our mission are approximately 270 dedicated staff members, including 140 teachers, as well as administrators, secretaries, paraprofessionals, maintenance and custodial teams, food service professionals, and other support personnel. Together, they serve our 2,700 students with care, professionalism, and a deep investment in each learner’s success.

Marysville is a welcoming suburban community located just south of Port Huron in St. Clair County along the scenic St. Clair River. A short drive across the Blue Water Bridge connects residents to Sarnia, Ontario, while I-94 provides easy access to Detroit and southeast Michigan.

High Quality Programming

Education is a point of pride in Marysville.  Marysville High School ranks among the top high schools in Michigan, earning recognition from U.S. News & World Report, and boasts a 94% graduation rate.  All of our buildings consistently score above state averages, and Morton Elementary School received the National ESEA Distinguished School Award for its outstanding academic results.  

The city maintains its own police, fire, and ambulance services, as well as a highly responsive Department of Public Works, known for prompt snow and ice removal. Recreationthrives along the St. Clair River with public shoreline access, parks, trails, and community events that bring residents together year-round.
