Annual Ed Reports
The District Annual Education Report (AER) provides important information on Marysville Public Schools' educational programs and performance. The report fulfills federal and select state reporting requirements and provides transparency regarding student achievement, school accountability, and educator qualifications.
In addition to the district report, each school publishes its own Annual Education Report, available on its website.
What Information Is Included in the Annual Education Report?
All Annual Education Reports contain the following components:
Student Assessment Data
Includes results from the M-STEP (Michigan Student Test of Educational Progress), MI-Access (Alternate Assessment), and the SAT administered by the College Board.
Presents English language arts and mathematics results for grades 3–8 and 11.
Includes MI-Access science results for grades 4, 7, and 11.
Compares school and district performance to state averages for all students and student subgroups.
School Accountability Data
Provides information on school performance across multiple measures, including student proficiency and growth on state assessments, graduation rates, and attendance rates.
Performance is measured using a 0–100 index scale.
Identifies schools designated for additional support under federally required categories:
Comprehensive Support and Improvement
Targeted Support and Improvement
Additional Targeted Support
Educator Qualification Data
Reports the number and percentage of inexperienced teachers, principals, and other school leaders.
Identifies teachers working under emergency or provisional credentials.
Includes information about teachers assigned outside their certified subject or field.
NAEP Data (National Assessment of Educational Progress)
Provides statewide results from the national assessment in mathematics and reading for grades 4 and 8, reported every other year.
Civil Rights Data
Shares information related to school quality, climate, and safety.
