** Keep your beneficiary designations current**

As time passes, individual circumstances change. Keeping beneficiary designations up to date is important because it determines how your final wishes are carried out.

For useful information on naming beneficiaries, please refer to the attached tip sheet provided by our Life Insurance provider.

If you'd like to update your beneficiary information, please complete the attached forms and return them to Michelle Nesbitt.

-         Payroll Beneficiary form– designates who you’d like to receive your last paycheck

-         Madison National Life– Group life insurance policy; the amount is determined by your bargaining unit              contract.  Please also view theNational Life Flier

-         Cigna– a $5000 policy available to employees enrolled in MESSA Health insurance.  Fill out the Non-                 Negotiated portion.


Additional updates to consider:

-         miAccount (www.michigan.gov/orsmiaccount) to name a pension and refund beneficiary.

-         Voya Financial website (stateofmi.voyaplans.com) to name beneficiaries if your retirement plan is a                    Defined Contribution (DC) or Pension Plus.


Marysville Public Schools is committed to maintaining safe, well-managed facilities for our students, staff, and community. Community groups interested in hosting an event or program in one of our school buildings must submit a Facility/Building Use Request Form using the link provided below. To complete a request, you will first need to create an account in our facility scheduling system. This updated process replaces all previous building use application methods and helps us efficiently manage and approve facility requests. We appreciate your cooperation as we work to provide a smooth and organized experience for all users.

If you have a name or address change, please follow the information below.

Name change: When updating your name with the District, please submit a copy of your driver's license and social security card with your updated name.  Once this information has been received, we will update your records internally with payroll and insurance.  This will also prompt the update your email and site login information.  Name changes will not be made until all required documentation is submitted.  If you are a certified employee, please log in to MOECS and update your certification.  Please bring a copy of your certification to Central Office for notarization, as applicable. 

Address change: When changing addresses, please send the District an updated copy of your license with the new address.  We will update our internal records, including your payroll and insurance records.

Documents can be submitted to Michelle at CO.

Tuition reimbursement is available to select bargaining groups.  Please check your contract language for details. 

For certified members applying for Tuition reimbursement, please use the Tuition Reimbursement form and provide the supporting materials described in the document.  

Additional compensation is available for those covered under the MEA bargaining unit who achieve additional credits (15 or 30) beyond their Bachelor's or Master's Degree.  Please complete the following Additional Compensation form and submit the required documentation outlined in the forms document.
