Marysville Public Schools provides developmentally appropriate preschool programs in a safe and nurturing environment. Our programs view your child as a unique person with individual patterns of growth and development.
We aim to promote your child's physical, social/emotional, and cognitive development while accepting differences in his/her individual learning styles, interests, and abilities.
Our preschool options include:
Developmental Kindergarten (DK);
The DK program is a tuition-free program geared towards children who are a young 5 or that will have their fifth birthday by December 1st of the year they wish to enroll. Dk offers a curriculum-based program that helps to prepare your child both socially and academically for Kindergarten.
Families interested in the Developmental Kindergarten program can attend one of the Kindergarten Parent Orientation Nights, or call 810-455-6007. Students who wish to attend the program will need to complete the Kg assessment, as well as a vision and hearing screening.
Begindergarten is a tuition-based preschool for children who turn 4 by September 1st. Marysville offers both half-day and full-day sessions. This curriculum-based program helps to prepare your child both socially and academically for Kindergarten the following year. Sessions fill quickly for this program.
Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP)
